Nicknames, Helmutt, Comedy Head, Gingersack, Gingernut, Ginger......in fact any word added to Ginger !!

Two paragraphs will never be enough to describe this enigma, in fact we should commission a psychological study to find out what makes this beast tick.

To say there are two Andy Thomas's would not do justice to the Jekyll and Hyde that lurks within that hulking frame,  One can turn up and bowl a team out with high pace, swing and seam movement,  and then smash a quick fifty to get you in the bar early. Equally the alter ego can appear as this sulking, growling muppet that couldn't hit a cows arse with a banjo and tests out the middle of the pitch with 60% of his deliveries.

The fun part is nobody knows which one will turn up!!

In fairness his batting has improved considerably, but you still have your heart in your mouth when he runs in to bowl.

There is so much more to say, but the publishers won't let me release the book just yet!!
